Test Standard
- Start the car; then read the gauge reading for three situations and standards :
- When the engine keeps slow speed ; the reading should be under 1 psi .
- When the engine reaches/keeps 3000 rpm ; the reading should be under 2 psi .
- When the engine reaches/keeps the high speed ; the reading should be under 5 psi .
- ( Note : the reading standard above is a common one provided by supplier ; please confirm and follow the accurate standards from the original shop )
